Lists keep me sane so here’s one about me. (We can call it “Aslist” hahaha.please.love.me)

My name’s pronounced as As-la. Calling me “Ash”, totally fine. “Ass”, please don’t.
I’m some sort of a Senior Creative who’s worked in all creative process stages from strategy to post-production for 10+ years.
I’m currently freelancing as a Senior Creative Writer for Google. Prior to that, I was the Lead Creative | Writer at Ambassadors and worked with brands like Unilever, Spotify, Uber, Jaguar, Veloretti and Booking.com. I also had the privilege to partner up with GitHub, PepsiCo, Ikea, Vogue, NYFW, and Porsche.
I’ve worked, lived, laughed and laughed some more in New York, Miami, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, London, Istanbul and now Amsterdam.
I grew up half in the States and half in Turkey so I’m fluent in English and Turkish. I can talk to toddlers in Dutch, order a drink in Spanish and count to 20 in German.
I have a 17-year-old cat, Mocha, who’s lived in 17+ places with me. (He passed away 12.12.22 but I can’t bring myself to erase this sentence.) I now have 2 other cats, Lupita and Sebastian. I strongly believe Mocha sent them my way and no one can convince me otherwise.
I like cheese, wine and dad jokes the most. I can’t help myself and say “Ahh this takes me back” when I put my car in reverse.
I’m a cat person who smiles at all dogs way more than their humans.
I dance way too much for a person who can’t dance.
I only judge people who judge people.
